St. Joseph's College, Jakhama, held a five-day faculty development programme on integrating AI into teaching and research.

DIMAPUR — St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, through its Internal Quality Assurance Cell and Research and Development Cell, organised a five-day faculty development programme (FDP) on "AI powered academia: Managerial skills and teaching-learning and research strategies" from July 3 to the 7th.
The programme aimed to equip faculty members with the knowledge and practical skills to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into teaching, research, assessment, and academic administration, stated an update.
Sessions were conducted by resource persons from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong; the District Mental Health Programme, Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima; and St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru.
The programme covered AI-powered teaching strategies, AI tools for research and publications, student mentoring and mental health, formative assessment, prompt engineering, AI-assisted assessment design, and the ethical use of AI in academia. Faculty members participated in interactive discussions and training sessions.
