Students and special athletes participate in the art competition organised by Special Olympics Nagaland in collaboration with Government Primary School, PWD, Dimapur, on Tuesday.


DIMAPUR — The Special Olympics Nagaland (SON), in collaboration with and sponsored by the Government Primary School (GPS), PWD, Dimapur, organised an art competition, “Unified art for ability – one heart, many gifts”, on Tuesday at GPS, PWD, Dimapur.


According to an update, it marked the celebration of the National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) for the first time. The unified art competition brought together GPS students and SON special athletes.

From Special Olympics athletes, Tiaba Tzudir, Yantso Kikon, and Moatula secured the first, second, and third positions, respectively. From GPS, Ngumi won first place, Ajenla second, and Tsushila third—all from Class 1. All participants were honoured with certificates and gift hampers.


The Special Olympics Nagaland family extended gratitude to the GPS PWD, Dimapur, for their sponsorship, love, and support in making the event a memorable celebration.
