DIMAPUR — The Sümi Totimi Hoho (STH) has condemned the alleged sexual assault of a minor girl in Dimapur.
According to a press release, the organisation stated that violence against women is a heinous crime and a gross violation of human dignity that must be met with the full force of the law. Such acts have no place in a civilised society and cannot be tolerated under any circumstances, it added.
The STH commended the courage of the victim and her family for coming forward in pursuit of justice. It urged the law enforcement agencies and all concerned authorities to conduct a thorough, impartial, transparent, and uncompromising investigation into the case and ensure that justice is delivered without delay.
