DIMAPUR — A joint delegation of the Sümi Hoho, Sümi Kükami Hoho, and Sümi Totimi Hoho on Monday met the Superintendent of Police, Zunheboto, and submitted a representation seeking to ensure free, fair, transparent, and merit-based conduct of the police recruitment rally, scheduled to be held on January 7.
During the meeting, the representatives emphasised the importance of conducting the recruitment process strictly in accordance with prescribed rules and guidelines, without any form of favouritism, recommendation, or external influence, so as to uphold the credibility and integrity of the police recruitment system, stated a press release issued by the media cell, Sümi Hoho.
The Superintendent of Police assured the delegation that all necessary arrangements are being put in place to ensure complete transparency, fairness, and smooth conduct of the recruitment rally.
He further highlighted that adequate supervision and monitoring mechanisms would be in place and expressed appreciation to the Sümi frontal organisations for their constructive and positive initiative.

The delegation also conveyed that the Sümi frontal organisations would extend full cooperation and support to the district administration and police authorities to ensure a peaceful, orderly, and successful recruitment process.
“The interaction was held in a cordial and cooperative spirit, reflecting a shared commitment to fairness, justice, and public trust in the recruitment of disciplined forces,” the release stated.
