Six candidates from Manipur have cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025, with Calvin Ginminlien Zou securing the highest rank from the state.

IMPHAL — Six candidates from Manipur have cleared the Civil Services Examination 2025 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Calvin Ginminlien Zou of Zomi Colony in Churachandpur district secured the highest position from the state with an All India Rank (AIR) of 134 while Wahengbam Renudhar Singh of Hiyanglam Awang Leikai in Kakching district secured AIR 652.
The other successful candidates are Th Vapani John of Oinam Hill village in Senapati district (AIR 800), Rahul Moirangthem of Kakching Mayai Leikai in Kakching district (AIR 824), Liangousang Vualnam (AIR 868) and Ningthoujam Rishikant (AIR 903).

The UPSC declared the final results following the written examination held in August 2025 and the personality test conducted between December 2025 and February 2026. A total of 958 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other central services.
Several social and voluntary organisations, including student bodies, have congratulated the successful candidates.
