The Shaki Women Fellowship Dimapur celebrated its silver jubilee at Unity College, marking 25 years of unity and support.

DIMAPUR — The Shaki Women Fellowship Dimapur, comprising daughters of Shaki village married to non-Shaki men, celebrated its silver jubilee fellowship at Unity College, Dimapur, on Saturday.
According to a DIPR report, former pastor of Lotha Baptist Church, Dimapur, Rev. Zanao Mozhui, attended the occasion as the jubilee speaker.
In his message, Rev. Zanao reminded the womenfolk that marriages are planned and destined by God while encouraging them to uphold the noble virtues and values of womanhood wherever they may be.

He further lauded the women, acknowledging that they are taking the lead and initiatives in many fields, thus making meaningful contributions to the community and society at large in the present age. He exhorted the gathering to continue strengthening unity, faith and mutual support within the community.
Loshumlo Ovung, one of the pioneers, highlighted the genesis of the Shaki Women Fellowship Dimapur, stating that the fellowship was started in the year 2001 with just two members, including herself and the late Orenboni Ngullie. Today, the fellowship has over 100 members.
Words of greeting were conveyed by Thungbeni Ngullie, President of Lotha Eloe Hoho; Arhoni Kikon, former women pastor of Kohima Lotha Baptist Church; and Rhonbemo Humtsoe, President of Shaki Fellowship Dimapur.
