Seyochung Village Students’ Union holds 64th triennial session with cultural programme; 171 students receive free study materials.

DIMAPUR — Seyochung village in Kiphire witnessed a cultural programme as part of the 64 UBA Seyochung Village Students’ Union triennial session, powered by Eduversity, on Tuesday.
T Chorise Anar attended the event as the cultural guest, stated an update.
Anar, speaking on the occasion, called upon the gathering to keep tradition alive. He stated that the community should not depend on others to preserve their culture and stressed that traditional agriculture, crafts, and handicrafts must continue.
On behalf of the Zithsingkyü lineage, he announced the construction of a watchtower in the village.

In his keynote address, Thsioli, executive chairman of Seyochung Village Students’ Union, thanked the cultural guest and well-wishers for their presence, stating it showed their care for the union and the culture of the village.
Daniel Sechopi, president of Seyochung Village Union, Kiphire, addressed the students and said that trust must be earned through actions. He added that if one feels sorry for their mistakes, they should also be willing to change their behaviour.
T Thinglise, vice president of the United Sangtam Students’ Conference, encouraged the students to prioritise self-confidence and develop the right attitude.
Meanwhile, Longtili C Sangtam, president of the Seyochung Village Students’ Union, informed that at least 171 students received free NPSC study materials from the Eduversity stall at Seyochung village.
He expressed gratitude to the village council, church, Suro Pümji, Seyochung Village Union Kiphire, Seyochung Village Union Kohima, Seyochung Village Union Seyochung Town, and Seyochung Village Union Dimapur for their support.
