GPS North Kikruma celebrates its 50th golden jubilee and North Kikruma Students' Union's 35th general session with Dr. Neisatuo Mero.

DIMAPUR — The Government Primary School (GPS), RD Block North Kikruma, celebrated its golden jubilee alongside the 35th general session of the North Kikruma Students' Union at the GPS Ground, North Kikruma, Phek district, on December 29.
The event was held on the theme "Retrospect: Reignite, focus", according to an update.
Dr. Neisatuo Mero, MLA, attended the programme as the guest speaker. In his address, he emphasised the importance of staying connected to one's roots.

He urged the gathering to "be rooted in the village, respect your home and village, and be deeply rooted in your identity, tradition, and culture," highlighting how these foundations foster resilience and community pride in Nagaland's hill villages.
"Have a competitive spirit – strive to excel, honouring our heritage," he stated. He further added, "Believe in God and work hard; faith combined with diligence will propel our youth to greater heights, sustaining institutions like this school for generations."
The celebration featured cultural performances, retrospectives on the school's journey, and discussions on reigniting educational fervour under the students' union's session.
