- DIMAPUR —  In a letter to the principal director,
the Seyochung Village Students' Union (SVSU) objected to the
transfer/attachment of Nepuni Kanai, a graduate teacher (SS) from Government
    High School (GHS), Seyochung Village.

- In the letter, the SVSU expressed concern and objection to
the recent teacher transfer/attachment order from the school to GHS Singrep, as
per the order issued by the Nagaland Education Mission Society, Samagra
    Shiksha.

- Stating that GHS Seyochung Village has been facing an acute
shortage of teachers for many years and, despite repeated appeals and
representations to the concerned authorities to post adequate teaching staff,
the demands remain unfulfilled, it added that this recent transfer has further
diminished the strength of the teaching faculty, affecting the quality of
education and jeopardising the academic future of the students.

    earliest.
