Seyochung Village Students’ Union adopts a federal structure during its 65th general meeting.

DIMAPUR — The Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) held its 65th general meeting at Seyochung village on Friday, where it resolved to adopt a federal structure.
Longtili C Sangtam, president of the SVSU, announced that 2026 will be dedicated to boosting civil service aspirants from Seyochung, an update stated.
He announced a 100% scholarship opportunity for NPSC/UPSC aspirants, sponsored by Rupin Sharma, DGP Nagaland.
Under this initiative, one meritorious student from Seyochung will receive a 100% scholarship for NPSC/UPSC preparations in Kohima or Dimapur.
Two more meritorious students from Seyochung will also be awarded 100% scholarships for NPSC/UPSC preparations in Kohima or Dimapur, in collaboration with Eduversity.

The union also announced an 80% fee concession for other aspirants from Seyochung village.
The eligibility and selection will be based on merit and economic background, ensuring equal opportunity for deserving candidates. The required documents include qualification certificate, No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the village council, ST and BT certificates. The last date for submission is January 31. During the programme, K Chumseli Anar’s Scholarship 2025–26 was awarded to Ayingli and Khatila. The union expressed sincere gratitude to K Chumseli Anar for his generous support.
