All village unions under the Seyochung Area actively participated in the drive, conducting thorough inspections and maintaining discipline throughout. As instructed, proper photographs and videos were taken as evidence and for record-keeping purposes.
The union stated that the ‘Expire free awareness drive’ is a step taken in the interest of public safety and community welfare. The union also appealed to shopkeepers and the public to remain alert and ensure that expired items are not sold or used in the future.
“The drive reflects a collective effort to keep the Seyochung area safe, healthy, and responsible—honouring community values while moving forward with awareness and accountability,” the release stated.
