DIMAPUR — Awareness campaign and benefits saturation camps under the Dharti Aabha Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DA-JGUA) were held across various, sub-divisions, towns and villages.
Akuluto: The awareness and benefits saturation camp was held at Town Hall, Akuluto, Zunheboto district, on Thursday. According to a DIPR report, the programme aimed to raise awareness about government schemes and provide citizens with access to essential services and welfare benefits under one roof.
The participants included GBs of Akuluto town, Maromi, Sumi Settsu, Alaphumi, Lumami, Lumithsami, and Sutemi villages. The interaction covered various initiatives, including Aadhaar camps, medical services, Aayushman Bharat, immunisation, PM Kishan, job cards, nutrition, and ration card registration, followed by a financial literacy session by State Bank of India. The programme was chaired by EAC, VK town, Viketoulie Metha.

Kuda village: The event was held at the village community hall, Dimapur, on Thursday, where Imli Wapang, EAC, highlighted the government’s commitment to uplift tribal villages through saturation of benefits, increased awareness, and community-driven progress.
He urged citizens to take full advantage of the services offered and spread awareness within their own wards and colonies. Multiple government departments and local leaders actively participated in the event, offering services like Aadhaar enrolment, health check-ups, pension registration, PMAY-G, and awareness campaigns on key welfare schemes.
Chepoketa: The launching programme took place at Chepoketa Village Council hall, Phek sadar, on June 18, with participation from village authorities and residents of Chepoketa, Mutale, Khutsokuno, and Tehephu.
In his keynote address, Deputy Commissioner of Phek, Rhosietho Nguori, emphasised the government's commitment to tribal welfare, urging officials from various departments and SBI to ensure effective implementation of the schemes for the villagers' benefit.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Pritpal Kaur encouraged villagers to actively engage with departments and avail themselves of the schemes' benefits. EAC, Phek HQ and nodal officer of the campaign Imnasenla Walling, chaired the programme.
Shamator: Shamator district administration organised the launching programme on June 18 at the DC’s office. Deputy Commissioner Chubatemjen welcomed the participants and highlighted the significance of the DA-JGUA initiatives aimed at empowering tribal communities.
The meeting, attended by all the heads of offices, agreed to collaborate on initiatives including Aadhaar enrolment, Ayushman Bharat, PM Kisan, Jan Dhan Yojana, and other welfare schemes.
