Sainik School Punglwa organises annual inter-house quiz competition

DIMAPUR — Sainik School Punglwa (SSP) in Peren district organised its annual inter-house quiz competition on October 31, which brought together cadets from eight houses in a display of knowledge and analytical skill.

An update from the school stated that the school’s principal, Col. (Dr.) Smiti Misra, attended the event as the chief guest.

It stated that the competition was held in two categories namely junior and senior, with two cadets from each house participating in six rounds that tested their knowledge of current affairs, defence, literature, science and technology, audio-visual and rapid fire questions.

After a keenly contested competition, Shilloi House emerged victorious in the junior category, represented by cadet Md Arif and cadet Vijeet Kr Priyadarshi, while Saramati House won the senior category, represented by cadet Pranav Kr and cadet Aarav Tyagi.

It stated that the chief guest congratulated the winners and gave away the certificates, medals and trophies.  She also commended the efforts put in by the organisers for the smooth conduct of the event.

The event was attended by officers, staff and cadets.
