- DIMAPUR — Along
with the rest of the country, as part of the FIT India initiative, the Sports
Authority of India (SAI), Sports Training Centre (STC) Dimapur conducted
“Sundays on Cycle” in collaboration with Indian Railways (Dimapur) and The
GearThrills Cycling Club.
- According to an update, in continuation of the initiative
envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and launched by the Union Sports
Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya on December 17, 2024, across the country.

The rally being flagged off at Dimapur Railway Station on
Sunday.
- The key objectives of FIT India Sundays on Cycle are to make
the people of the country fit and to fight against obesity, encourage a
healthier and greener India, and improve air quality as a whole.
- The theme for the event, “Two wheels, one mission, with
Indian Railways”, aimed to highlight the role of Indian Railways in
nation-building and sustainable transportation.

- The rally was flagged off at Dimapur Railway Station by Dr.
V Mathew (DMO), along with Amritesh Kumar Singh (SS) of Indian Railways,
Dimapur.
