• DIMAPUR — The Kushiabill Kachari Community, in collaboration with the Kachari Youths and Women of Kushiabill, Gyanswrang Fwraishali, Rungsari Laloram Kachari Dwrwngari Denkhwmu Swlwngshali, and the Kachari Gaon Buras (GBs) of Kushiabill, celebrated the Rongjali Bwisagu Festival on May 4 at the Kachari Community Hall, Dimapur.

• According to a press release, the festival marks the Mech (Bodo) New Year.

• Speaking on the occasion, Subash Mech, head GB, stated that this year’s Rongjali Bwisagu celebrates their collective strength, commitment to preserving their cultural heritage, and the spirit of their Mech Kachari identity.
