Pro Rural conducts intensive training on bamboo craft
Trainees and officials who took part in the Intensive training on bamboo craft conducted by Pro Rural at Life Ministry Learning Centre, Naga United village, Chümoukedima.
DIMAPUR Intensive 15-day training on bamboo craft under NABARD’s Livelihood Enterprise Development Programme (LEDP) was conducted by Pro Rural at Life Ministry Learning Centre, Naga United village, Chümoukedima. 

Assistant General Manager, NABARD, Madrasa Dkhar, the special guest of the valedictory session held on April 13, highlighted on the importance of market efficiency and designing a niche product with continuous refinement as the entrepreneurs grow and learn in their business.

In addition to skills training, the trainees were taken for an exposure trip to Nagaland Bamboo Resource Centre at 6th mile, Chümoukedima, and Wood Craft Centre, Diezephe.

Earlier, the training was inaugurated on March 28 in the presence of General Manager, SIDBI Dimapur, Ramkumar Sharma and Inspector of Industries, DIC, Kiyelu T Yeptho. A total of 29 trainees registered for the training with Joseph Sangtam as the master trainer.
