DIMAPUR — In accordance with the guidelines issued by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the Chümoukedima District Football Association (CDFA) informed all football clubs, futsal teams, academies, and individual players operating under the Chümoukedima district that organising or participating in any football, futsal, or other football-related tournament within Chümoukedima must be duly notified to and approved by the CDFA.
In an update, the CDFA maintained that participation without prior approval may be deemed a violation of AIFF, Nagaland Football Association (NFA), and CDFA regulations.

It said that as per AIFF recommendations, no AIFF-registered player, coach, or referee is permitted to take part in unauthorised or unregistered tournaments; clubs or academies must ensure such tournaments are first approved by the district or state association; and disciplinary action will be taken against any individual or team found in violation of this directive.
Therefore, all concerned have been strictly instructed to submit a formal notification to the CDFA office well in advance of any intended participation in such events. Failure to comply may lead to suspension, disqualification from future tournaments, or other disciplinary measures as per AIFF, NFA, and CDFA rules.
