Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School celebrates Bharatiya Bhasa Divas promoting linguistic diversity and cultural identity.

DIMAPUR — Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur, celebrated Bharatiya Bhasa Divas on the theme “Many languages, one emotion” on Thursday at its auditorium.
In connection with the celebration commemorating the birth ceremony of Mahakavi Subramania Bharati, a series of cultural programmes such as speeches in different languages, were presented by the teachers of the school, according to an update.

Apart from the speeches, the students performed cultural acts in different languages.
Principal of PVHSS Monoj Bhattacharjee highlighted the significance of the day. He reflected that language is the cornerstone of cultural identity and a vital medium through which individual as well as collective heritage is expressed.
He urged the audience to develop a keen interest to learn other languages along with their own mother tongue through various sources.
