Primary Health Centre Zuketsa conducts multi-speciality free medical camp.

KOHIMA — A multi-speciality free medical camp was held at Primary Health Centre (PHC) Zuketsa, under Pfutsero sub-division of Phek district on November 1.
The camp was organised by the District Hospital Phek in collaboration with Zuketsa Area Public Organisation (ZAPO).
The camp was conducted by 19 doctors and supported by 21 medical team members.
Altogether, 809 patients were treated including surgical cases.
The camp provided services on consultation by specialists, free medicine and drugs, surgical procedures, family planning, dental procedures, USG screening, ECG, NCD, diagnostic lab, physiotherapy, Ayushman Bharat Health card and eye screening.
Dr. Neisatuo Mero, MLA of 16th Pfutsero Assembly Constituency, also joined the camp and challenged the doctors to be updated with the latest medical advancement.

He also called upon the doctors to be precise in diagnosing diseases and give proper treatment.
He expressed gratitude to members of the medical team for their sacrifices in giving health services to the poor and needy patients.
Dr. Mero told the villagers that “Health is wealth and we ought to take care of ourselves from any sickness.”
Timely consultation with the doctors is important so as to detect early the underlying health issues for effective treatment, he added.
Later, he also treated patients along with other doctors.
Earlier, the introductory service was led by Kedoutsolhi Wetsah, president of ZAPO while introduction was made by Dr. Wemeri Khutsoh, Sr. Medical Officer, Phek.
Hüvesalü Yoho, Pastor of Zuketsa Town Baptist Church prayed for the camp.
