DIMAPUR — The Phek District Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PDCCI) has terminated the membership and registration of a general store in Phek town, reportedly owned by Huvosa Venuh under registration number 07, citing repeated misconduct and non-compliance with its rules.
According to a notification from the trade body, the violations were committed by an employee named Pappu Yadav, who has been identified as a habitual offender involved in multiple offences, including the sale of expired products.
The chamber stated that his words and actions disregarded the norms set for the business community, adversely affecting public safety and tarnishing the image of the organisation.

The chamber proposed a bond agreement requiring the replacement of the employee within a stipulated period. However, the proprietor reportedly refused to sign the agreement despite thorough deliberations with officials and senior members.
In view of the continued non-compliance, the organisation decided to terminate the establishment's membership with immediate effect.
The office informed the public to be vigilant while doing business with the establishment.
