A Nagaland University team visits Japfü Christian College in Kohima to evaluate infrastructure for affiliation renewal.

DIMAPUR — A team from Nagaland University visited Japfü Christian College, Kigwema, in Kohima on Tuesday to evaluate the institution’s academic standards and infrastructure.
The inspection was conducted as part of the process for permanent affiliation renewal for undergraduate programmes for the period 2026-27 to 2030-31, as well as extending provisional affiliation for the 2026-27 academic year for the Master of Arts in Sociology and the postgraduate programme in Tourism and Travel Management.
According to an update, the inspection team was led by Prof. Lungsang Zeliang as convener, with Prof. Temjensosang and Dr. Dhrubajyoti Bordoloi serving as members.

During their visit, the team interacted with the principal and faculty and carried out a detailed on-site review of the campus, including its facilities and teaching resources.
Students of the Master of Tourism and Travel Management programme hosted the team, showcasing traditional Konyak cuisine featuring a seven-course meal comprising Nyah, Aoha Mei, Nük-nye, Ak Mei, Phia-sa, Khamkhah, and Tenghoi, along with additional items like Kenpaan with Nyam Ken and pork with bamboo shoot.
All dishes were prepared in the college’s Naga Traditional Cuisine Lab.
