- DIMAPUR — Phek district bade farewell to
outgoing deputy commissioner (DC), John Tsulise Sangtam; additional deputy
commissioner (ADC), Roupfukuotuo Noudi and EAC, Kum Nengpichong Singsit during
a programme held at DC's conference hall in Phek town on April 22.
- In his farewell speech, the outgoing DC has appreciated his
subordinate administrative officers under Phek district, SP and DEF team, 5th
NAP Phek, officers and staff of various departments for their sincerity in
carrying out their assigned duties with diligence throughout his stayed
particularly in the last Lok Sabka and urban local body elections.
- The outgoing ADC and EAC also delivered their farewell
speeches during the programme.

- Speaking on behalf of District Planning and Development
Board (DPDB), the superintendent of police, Phek, Dr. Pritpal Kaur Batra, has
described the outgoing DC as an experienced and enthusiastic person, who
enabled district officers as members of DPDB to attend their assigned jobs
successfully under his leadership.
- The ADC of Pfutsero, Mhalo Humtsoe, and ADC of Chozuba, Dr.
Diana Patton, also delivered speeches on behalf of the administrative officers
of the district.
- A DIPR report stated that CPO president, Vezuhu Keyho, and
the president of Chakheshang Mother's Association, Zhonelu Tunyi, also spoke on
behalf of Chakheshang public, while the district head DB, Melusayi Rhakho,
spoke on behalf of the DC's staff.
- Rev. Fr. Sivi George, parish priest of St. Mary Chut,
Lozaphuhu, said the invocation prayer and Mechietsho Koza, EAC of Phek, chaired
the programme.
