Patkai Christian College in Chümoukedima dedicates a state-of-the-art studio for Journalism and Mass Communication.

DIMAPUR — Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) in Chümoukedima dedicated its newly established Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) Studio on Thursday.
The studio was formally inaugurated by Principal Dr. Thepfuvilie Pierü, who cut the ceremonial ribbon.
According to an update, congratulating the department, Dr. Pierü expressed confidence that it would continue to excel and produce meaningful productions in the new facility.
Head of the Department Rojenn Wahengbam shared the vision behind the studio, noting that it has been designed as a student-centred space. He stated that the facility will be accessible to students round the clock, along with open access to all its equipment.
The studio is equipped with a podcast production station, digital audio mixing, non-linear editing suites, acoustic isolation, a broadcast lighting system, and a newsroom-style anchor desk.
The facilities are intended to provide students with a dedicated space for practical learning and for producing audio and video content.
