One unidentified body found in Dimapur

DIMAPUR — An unidentified body of a non-Naga male was discovered near the Northeast Travels counter on Golaghat Road on the morning of May 25.
According to an update from Dimapur Police, telephonic information was received from the Control Room, Dimapur, stating that the public reported one unidentified non-Naga male lying dead near the counter.
Accordingly, the personnel on duty at East Police Station rushed to the scene and found the dead body, aged around 25–30 years. Upon thorough inspection, there were no injury marks, only a tattoo on the right hand bearing the initials D.P.
On completion of all legal formalities, the body was taken to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
The deceased was wearing a white checked shirt, black jeans, cream-coloured shorts, a black belt, and black sneakers. A black fanny pack was found near the body.
