Mokokchung hosts One Nagaland Run 5K, with Takasanen Longkumer and Sungtiyala Imchen winning men’s and women’s categories
DIMAPUR — The NPF Mokokchung Youth Wing Division organised “One Nagaland Run – 5K” in Mokokchung on Wednesday on the theme “Running Together, Growing Together”.
The event was attended by Advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland Apong Pongener.
Takasanen Longkumer emerged winner in the men’s category, followed by Talimiem in second place and Temjensanen Pongen in third.
In the women’s category, Sungtiyala C Imchen secured the top position, followed by Jemie P in second and Opanglemla Jamir in third.
The event also recognised participants at both ends of the age spectrum. Putiyanger, 12, was adjudged the youngest finisher, while Limayanger, 56, was the oldest.
Metsulong and Lanutemjen Kichu, both aged 13, were recognised as the second-youngest participants.
