NPF Mon Youth Wing conducts the One Nagaland Run – 5K in Mon, promoting fitness and competitive youth running.
DIMAPUR — The Naga People's Front (NPF) Mon Youth Wing Division conducted the "One Nagaland Run – 5K" on Tuesday as part of the state-wide initiative of the NPF Central Youth Wing.
The event, held under the slogan "Running together, growing together", witnessed participation from 90 athletes in the Open Men’s and Women’s categories, according to an update.
The initiative also aims to provide a platform for emerging athletes to showcase their talent and identify promising young runners who can compete at higher levels.
In the Men's Category, Manbo Konyak secured the first position, followed by Wangtho C Wangsa in second and Longpa in third.
In the Women's Category, Wangya secured the first position, followed by Ngongun in second and Phamnyu in third.
The NPF Central Youth Wing congratulated all the winners and participants for their enthusiasm and sporting spirit, wishing the qualifying athletes success as they advance to the state grand finale on August 22, at the Regional Centre for Sporting Excellence, Sovima, Chümoukedima.
