Office of the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts ccelebrates 25th anniversary of the formation of the CCA setup.

DIMAPUR — The office of the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Jt. CCA), North East-II, Dimapur, marked the 25th anniversary of the formation of the CCA setup with a commemorative function held in Dimapur on October 1.
An update stated that the event celebrated the evolution and achievements of the CCA system over the past two and a half decades in supporting transparent, efficient and accountable financial administration in the telecommunications sector.
The function was attended by a wide array of stakeholders including retired personnel, internet service providers and telecom service providers operating in the region. The gathering reflected the CCA office’s commitment to inclusive dialogue and cooperative engagement.

It stated that an interactive session formed a core part of the event, during which participants shared experiences, offered feedback and discussed the challenges and opportunities in the field of telecom finance and service delivery. It added that the forum provided valuable insights into stakeholder expectations and enabled the CCA office to strengthen collaborative ties.
Addressing the gathering, the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts, NE-II, K Sajal, reflected on the journey of the CCA setup since its inception in 2000. He noted, "The CCA setup was born out of a vision to ensure financial discipline and transparency within the department of Telecommunications. Over the years, we have evolved into a dynamic interface between the Government and stakeholders in the telecom ecosystem."
He further emphasised the importance of innovation and adaptability in public service. "As we look to the future, we must embrace digital transformation and continue to deliver efficient services, whether it is pension disbursement, license fee collection or spectrum usage charge monitoring," Sajal said.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a reaffirmation of the CCA office’s dedication to its core mission of accountability, transparency and service excellence.
