The NSS Unit of Fazl Ali College adopts Satsu village for five years, conducting development drives and signing an MoU.

MOKOKCHUNG — The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Fazl Ali College (FAC), Mokokchung, organised its annual special camping programme from February 26 to the 28th in its adopted village, Satsu, under the Ongpangkong Range in the Mokokchung district.
A total of 26 NSS volunteers, accompanied by two programme officers, Dr. L Imlinichet Imchen and Nukshimoa, participated in the three-day initiative.

The programme began with the formal signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Satsu Village Council and the NSS Unit of FAC. This agreement officially marks the adoption of Satsu village by the NSS Unit for a five-year period.
During the camp, the volunteers and programme officers carried out community development initiatives, including installing four roadside signboards to improve local navigation and awareness.

They also whitewashed the village community hall and school and organised a cleanliness drive across the village.
Additionally, separate interactive sessions were held with village elders and schoolchildren to foster dialogue and share knowledge.
