DIMAPUR — The NSCN (IM) has condemned two reported drone attacks in Myanmar’s Naga areas, including one on Mt Horeb Camp on October 11, while denying allegations that it had any role in the latter incident.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the outfit condemned the reported October 3 drone attack on the residence of NSCN-K (Yung Aung) Brigadier Akham Konyak at Langkho village, which allegedly killed two civilians.
It also cited the reported attack on Mt Horeb Camp in Myanmar’s Naga Self-Administered Zone in the early hours of October 11, during which approximately 60 explosive devices were allegedly dropped.
Describing the attacks as indiscriminate and reckless, the NSCN (IM) called for a transparent and impartial investigation to identify those responsible.
