- DIMAPUR — The
joint council of NSCN (IM) on Friday accorded civic reception to 83 cadres from
various camps at its central headquarters (CHQ), Camp Hebron.
- A press release from the NSCN (IM) through its MIP stated
that the members who joined the group included kilonsers, deputy kilonsers,
tatars, leacy, razou peyu and khapur. It added that the army wing was led by a
colonel along with two lieutenant colonel, four major, one captain, two 2nd
lieutenant, three sergeant major, seven sergeant and one corporal.
- The occasion focused on fostering trust and unity among all
national workers.

- Meanwhile, the joint council, in its meeting, has strongly
condemned the killing of its three cadres on April 29 in between New Kubin and
Herakilua village of NC Hills by the Indian security forces and Assam police.
- The house questioned the credibility of the Indian
government on its commitment on signing of the ceasefire agreement as two
entities, which is without territorial limits and applies to all the Nagas
inhabited areas.
- It further stated that the Indian security forces are
responsible for the killing of 201 Naga army cadres on different pretext during
the period of ceasefire.
