The NPF Youth Wing organises a medical camp and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme drive in Phek.

DIMAPUR — The Youth Wing of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), Phek Division, organised a medical camp and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) awareness and registration drive at Enhulumi village in the Phek district on August 8.
According to an update from the party, the programme was held on the initiative of the NPF Central Youth Wing and included a free medical camp, an awareness session on CMHIS, and on-the-spot registration for eligible beneficiaries.
Speaking at the kick-off programme, Working President of the NPF Central Youth Wing Supoyi Vezhu highlighted the importance of public healthcare and urged the public to avail themselves of the benefits available under CMHIS. He also reaffirmed the NPF Youth Wing’s support and confidence in the leadership of NPF President and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.

According to the party, around 200 people availed themselves of the medical camp and CMHIS-related services.
The NPF Youth Wing of Phek Division expressed gratitude to Minister of Power and Parliamentary Affairs KG Kenye; MLA and Advisor for Civil Administration Works Division Kudecho Khamo; MLA and Advisor for Science & Technology Kuzholuzo Nienu; Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA) Chairman Nuzota Swuro; and former minister Neiba Kronu for their support and contribution towards the successful conduct of the camp.
The division also acknowledged the staff of the Department of Health and Family Welfare for their assistance and support during the programme. The Phek Division Youth Wing further appreciated the NPF Central Youth Wing for initiating the outreach programme to connect with people at the grassroots level.
