NPF Kiphire division holds comprehensive consultative meeting

DIMAPUR — The Naga People’s Front (NPF) of Kiphire division has organised a comprehensive consultative meeting on May 28 at Multi-purpose Hall in Pungro town.
An update from the party stated that the meeting brought together party leaders, frontal wings and grassroots workers to deliberate on contemporary political issues, strengthen party unity and outlined future developmental strategies.
The meeting was chaired by K Lendila Agnes, working president of NPF Kiphire women wing, while the keynote address was delivered by Resangla Susana, president of NPF Kiphire women wing.

Short speeches were also delivered by Yangtsali, president of 59 Assembly Constituency; Khamong, president of 60 Assembly Constituency; Tsaseto Sangtam, president of NPF Kiphire division; and Throngkila, vice president of NPF central women wing.
In his speech Khamong called upon the party workers not to confuse on NDDP-NPF merger. According to him, the merger was not about one party absorbing another but coming together to work, share ideologies, energies and responsibilities.
“We are moving forward together under one banner, creating a stronger unified voice as one united family irrespective of caste, color and creed focusing on progress, development and the prosperity of Nagaland,” Khamong said.
Also speaking at the meeting, S Kiusumew Yimchunger, MLA and Advisor of Fire & Emergency Services, Home Guard and Civil Defense, Relief & Rehabilitation, emphasised the need to revitalise the party's regional foundations and maintain a deep, unwavering connection with the grassroots. He called upon the party workers not to maintain political bias based on tribe, religion and clans.
He urged the party workers to reaffirm their commitment to the party’s principles and serve as the guardian of Naga people’s identity, cultural values and regional interests. He also appealed to all the party workers to keep aside differences and work cohesively for a brighter and progressive future.
The women working president, K Lendila Agnes, stated that the valuable suggestions and constructive discussions in the meeting have greatly enhanced their administrative efficiency.
"By working closely together, we are better equipped to meet the expectations across the division,” she added.
The meeting was attended by officials of Kiphire divisional, 59 Sitimi-Seyochung AC, 60 Pungro-Kiphire AC and village unit office bearers.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Y Khiutsithong, working president of NPF Kiphire division, followed by a mass prayer for peace, prosperity and unity across all Naga-inhabited areas.
