Naga People's Front congratulates its winning candidates in Urban Local Body bye-elections.

DIMAPUR — The Naga People's Front (NPF) has congratulated its candidates, Neichüu Kuotsu and Aling Lotha, on their victories in the Urban Local Body (ULB) bye-elections to Ward No. 11 of Chümoukedima Town Council and Ward No. 8 of Wokha Town Council, respectively.
In a congratulatory note, the party expressed gratitude to the voters of both wards for reposing their faith in the NPF candidates and extending overwhelming support. It said the mandate reflected the people's trust in the party's commitment to grassroots development and transparent governance.
The NPF reaffirmed its commitment to serving the people and said it would continue to uphold its core values of integrity, regional identity and inclusive progress. It added that its newly elected representatives would prioritise civic amenities, public welfare and responsive administration in their respective wards.
The party also thanked the voters of Ward No. 9, Atoizu Town Council, for their support to NPF candidate Shikavi Kiba. Although the result did not go in the party's favour, it said it respected the democratic verdict and would continue to engage with the people of Atoizu to address local concerns.
The NPF further conveyed its appreciation to the State Election Commission for ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of the bye-elections.
