Speaking to media persons after the declaration of results, Kuotsu thanked the electorate for their support and pledged to prioritise the development of Ward No. 11, which he described as largely underdeveloped.
Referring to the promises made during his election campaign, Kuotsu said that he would now begin pursuing them by engaging with the respective departments and ministers.
Despite the electoral contest, Kuotsu asserted that there was no personal animosity between him and his BJP opponent.
He said that they share a cordial relationship and are "like brothers," adding that political differences should not affect personal bonds.
He also acknowledged the BJP's vigorous campaign, saying it compelled him to work harder throughout the election.
