The organisation stated that the FNTA Bill is poised to play a pivotal role in advancing comprehensive and inclusive development across the eastern frontier of Nagaland. By bridging longstanding developmental gaps, the authority will bring governance and development initiatives directly to the remote corners of the state through a decentralised approach.
The NPF Central Youth Wing also congratulated the people of Eastern Nagaland on the achievement, stating that it fulfils an aspiration for a self-governing territorial authority. It added that this empowerment will enable the people of the region to realise their social, economic, educational, cultural, and linguistic aspirations on an equal footing with the rest of the Naga community.
