DIMAPUR — The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of North East Christian University (NECU) organised a programme on artificial intelligence training in collaboration with YouthNet and the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) on Monday.
Speaking on the topic of AI fundamentals, Florida Jigdong talked about YouthNet and the impact it has been making in Nagaland regarding skill development and employment.
Introducing the concept of AI, Jigdong discussed three categories: Narrow AI, Generative AI, and Super AI (a theoretical form of AI that surpasses human intelligence across all fields).
According to an update, she highlighted the tools that can be used in everyday life, referring to ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and Perplexity.

She noted that one has to learn the art of prompting since AI is generative in nature and engineered by the users. According to her, depending on the prompts given, a user can make the best use of AI services.
She also highlighted the integration of AI in business branding and marketing through WhatsApp Business and AI-powered content creation.
During the programme, participants engaged in a hands-on activity where they were asked to build a business model using AI.
