Norman Putsure College concludes four-day Sports Meet 2026 held at Chümoukedima featuring various sporting disciplines.

DIMAPUR — Norman Putsure College organised its Sports Meet 2026 over four days at the college campus and Chümoukedima Local Ground.
The inaugural programme was attended by Khriemelie Mehta, proprietor of The Combat Academy, as the chief guest, stated an update. In his address, he encouraged students to uphold discipline, teamwork, and perseverance both on and off the field.
The programme included an invocation, welcome address, oath-taking ceremony, and lighting of the torch.

Students competed in indoor and outdoor events, including volleyball, basketball, table tennis, arm wrestling, chess, football, penalty shootout, high jump, long jump, 100m and 200m races, shot put, badminton, javelin throw, relay race, obstacle race, kho-kho, tug of war, and catapult shooting.
The football, volleyball, and basketball finals drew support from spectators. The meet concluded with a prize distribution programme where winners were presented awards and certificates.
