
Health officials during the special screening drive at the
premises of DC’s office in Mokokchung town on Tuesday.
- DIMAPUR — Continuing
with the World Hypertension Day programme, the Health and Family Welfare
department of Mokokchung division conducted special screening drives on
non-communicable diseases (NCD) on Tuesday.
- An update from the office of the chief medical officer (CMO)
of Mokokchung stated that special screening drives were conducted at the
premises of DC’s office, district court, Food and Civil Supplies and district
agriculture office.
- During the special drive, blood pressure and blood sugar
were tested for free. Besides, leaflets on non-communicable diseases were also
distributed.

- The team, led by Dr. Limanaro, DPO (UIP&RCH), consisted
of NCD staff and IEC personnel.
- Meanwhile, it informed that the department would continue to
conduct special screening drive till June 16 covering government offices and
public places.
