Dimapur — The NNC/FGN has expressed concern over reports published in the local media regarding the apprehension of three top functionaries of the NNC/FGN (NA) individuals, namely Senlo Khing, Kitoho H Zhimomi and Tovito Kiba.
In a statement, the NNC/FGN alleged that the three individuals are "pseudo national workers" assuming self-attested ranks.
It claimed that they were racketeers taking advantage of the present political crisis by extracting illegal taxes from the public under the pretext of Naga nationalism.
The organisation cautioned the Naga public not to encourage or entertain such "anti-Naga national individuals" in any form. It urged the public to remain vigilant and identify such unscrupulous elements from genuine national workers.

The NNC/FGN alleged that the individuals have no regard for the nation and have not contributed to the Naga cause.
It further claimed that they were tarnishing the image and integrity of the NNC/FGN by collecting illegal taxes in the Kohima and Dimapur areas for personal gain.
It also alleged that the three individuals lacked knowledge of the history of Naga nationalism, the Yehzabo and the political aspirations of the Naga people.
The NNC/FGN also condemned what it described as growing moral and social decadence, including acts of sexual depravity, in society.
It stated that such conduct was alien to the values, traditions and principles that have long guided the Naga people.
The organisation called upon responsible citizens to uphold the moral fabric of society and work collectively to preserve the dignity and honour of the nation.
