
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio making the obituary reference to
the passing away of Manmohan Singh.
- KOHIMA — The sixth session of the 14th
Nagaland Legislative Assembly on Monday paid tributes to former Prime Minister
Dr. Manmohan Singh and five former MLAs who had passed away since the last
assembly session.
- Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio made the obituary reference to
the passing away of Manmohan Singh, who had died on December 26, 2024.
- NLA Speaker Sharingain Longkumer also made obituary
references to the passing away of five former MLAs: TA Ngullie, K Zungkum,
Bendangangshi Ao, Mhavil Khieya, and Kejong Chang.
- The speaker and the members of the house observed a minute
of silence in memory of the former PM and the five MLAs.
