DIMAPUR — A district stakeholder consultative workshop on Viksit Nagaland 2047 was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference hall in Niuland on April 18.
Deputy Commissioner of Niuland, T L Kiusumong Tikhir, delivered the welcome address and presented the aims and objectives of Viksit Bharat 2047.
According to a DIPR report, he stated that the mission is India's vision to become a fully developed nation by 2047, which coincides with 100 years of Indian independence aligned with this national vision.

Informing that Niuland, being a newly created district, will face many challenges and difficulties ahead, the DC stressed that no one in the district will know the problems and difficulties better than the district administration, department officers, civil societies, and NGOs. He urged all members present to actively participate in the mission.
A sectoral assessment overview was presented by various line departments, covering five major pillars of development: economic, social, environmental, infrastructure, and governance.
