DIMAPUR — Deputy Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly, S Toiho Yeptho, conducted coordination meetings at Suruhuto town and Asuto town on April 16 and 17, respectively.
According to an update, the meetings focused extensively on the upcoming census drive and the developmental activities carried out in the Suruhuto-Asuto 33 Assembly Constituency (AC) over the past three years.
Addressing the gatherings, the deputy speaker urged the public of his constituency to actively and responsibly participate in the upcoming census drive. He also highlighted several major development initiatives undertaken in the Suruhuto-Asuto 33 AC within a span of three years under his leadership.
He expressed his appreciation to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, stating that under his leadership, substantial and transformative development has taken place, turning the aspirations of the people of the Suruhuto-Asuto area into reality.
The meetings were attended by village council chairmen, gaonburahs, Kukamis, Dobashis, town council members, and other public leaders from both areas.
