Nito Theological College hosts consumer awareness programme

DIMAPUR — The Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection (LM&CP), Zunheboto, in collaboration with Nito Theological College (NTC), organised a consumer awareness programme at the NTC chapel hall on September 12.

The highlight of the programme was an insightful speech on consumer awareness delivered by resource person Khevishe Z Zhimomi, Assistant Controller LM&CP Zunheboto, who emphasised the rights and responsibilities of consumers and importance of being vigilant in the marketplace, a DIPR report stated.

The program was led by Assistant Professor NTC, Hovika Yeptho, and invocation and prayer of blessing was offered by Assistant Professor, Khetoho K Awomi, followed by a welcome note from Academic Dean NTC, Vilibo.

A special song was presented by Khevika Chophy.

The programme concluded with a closing prayer, marking the successful completion of an informative and engaging session aimed at empowering students and participants with essential consumer knowledge.
