NIELIT Dimapur conducts first SAMARTH training and distributes 391 AIoT kits to students of two Dimapur schools.

DIMAPUR — In a significant step towards promoting technology-driven learning among school students, NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology) Dimapur conducted the first-ever SAMARTH training programme and AIoT kit distribution for students of Christian Higher Secondary School and Government Higher Secondary School Dimapur on March 7.
The five-day training covered artificial intelligence, robotics, digital hardware and cyber security, an update stated.
A total of 391 AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) kits were distributed, including 208 kits to CHSS and 183 kits to GHSS, along with one School Innovation Kit each for the two schools.

Certificates were also awarded to the participating students. The schools were nominated by the Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland.
“Through the SAMARTH Project supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, NIELIT continues to strengthen digital literacy, innovation, and technology-based learning among school students in Nagaland and will be conducting similar training programmes in more schools in the months ahead,” it stated.
