DIMAPUR — A stretch of National Highway-2 between Jakhama and Viswema in Kohima district will remain temporarily closed on May 3 to facilitate the recovery of a truck that fell into the Kehorü River.
Deputy Commissioner of Kohima, B Henok Buchem, issued an order stating that the highway will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 3 pm to 6 pm on Sunday.

The affected stretch has been restricted to enable safe recovery operations of the ill-fated vehicle.
Commuters have been advised to take the alternative route via Viswema–Kidima–Chakhabama to avoid inconvenience during the closure period.
