NEZCC invites artistes, performers, cultural groups, artisans and traditional performers from the eight northeastern states to apply for fresh or renewal empanelment by September 2026.
DIMAPUR — The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, has invited applications from artistes, performers and cultural groups from the eight member states of the NEZCC for fresh empanelment and renewal of empanelment.
The empanelment and renewal process is scheduled to be completed by September 2026. The age of performing artistes should generally be between 18 and 35 years, while musicians and accompanists may be considered up to 55 years, depending on the nature of the art form.
Artistes, performers, folk and tribal cultural groups, artisans and crafts persons, ethnic traditional cuisine artisans, traditional game performers and other cultural groups interested in participating in NEZCC programmes have been encouraged to apply within the stipulated period.
Those already empanelled with the NEZCC are also required to apply for renewal. Artistes and groups empanelled or renewed through the process will be considered for participation in various NEZCC programmes.
