NLA BAC meeting on Feb. 20
DIMAPUR — Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly and Chairperson of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC), Sharingain Longkumer, has convened the BAC meeting on February 20 at 12 noon at the C Chongshen Committee Room, Assembly Secretariat, to finalise the provisional programme for the eighth session of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly scheduled to commence from March 2, This was stated is a press release issued by the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Kohima.
Family planning camp held at Tuli
DIMAPUR — The Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Mokokchung, in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society and Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, conducted a maternal & child health and family planning outreach camp at Tuli CHC on Friday. The medical camp aimed to provide family planning services to the community and treat maternal and child health issues, an update from CMO Mokokchung stated. Family planning services like tubectomy, vasectomy and IUCD insertion were provided during the camp. The medical team performed four CuT insertions and fourteen tube ligation procedures. The participants were from the community and nearby villages.
Chümoukedima DPDB meeting postponed
DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB), Chümoukedima, Polan John, has informed that the monthly DPDB meeting of Chümoukedima district scheduled for February 2026 has been postponed. All the DPDB members have been requested to take note of the postponement. Further details regarding the rescheduled date will be communicated in due course, a DIPR report stated.
Immunisation task force meeting on Feb. 12
DIMAPUR — A state task force meeting on routine immunisation is scheduled to be held on February 12 at 1 pm at the IDSP Hall, Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, Kohima. All concerned officers have been requested to attend the meeting, an official bulletin stated.
