Governor's awards for HSLC & HSSLC toppers on June 12
- DIMAPUR — The
Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has informed institutional heads that
the Governor's felicitation programme for HSLC and HSSLC toppers, achievers,
and awardees will be held on June 12 at 11 am at Dr. Imkongliba Ao Hall, Raj
Bhavan, Kohima.
- Toppers, rank holders, and Governor's Award achievers are
invited to the felicitation programme, while parents and institutional heads
have not been invited due to space constraints, a DIPR report stated.
- Heads of institutions have been requested to inform the
toppers, rank holders and achievers who passed out from their schools to attend
the programme positively.

- The confirmed lists from the school should be mailed to
nagaboard@gmail.com by June 9 by 3pm. for onward submission to Governor’s
Secretariat.
- “All the invitees shall report to the venue at 10:30 am and
be seated by 10:45 am. Students should be advised to come in their school
uniforms,” the report added.

- DC Zunheboto
restricts heavy vehicles on Bailey bridge
- DIMAPUR — Deputy
Commissioner of Zunheboto, Dharam Raj, has informed the general public that
movement of heavy-loaded vehicles above 8 tonnes at Bailey Bridge of 50 FT SSBB
at km 13.900 (Hurki Nallah/ Oriki Bridge) from Zunheboto to Aghunato-Kiphire
Road, is prohibited due to the weak/deteriorating condition of the said bridge
for safety concerns. In an advisory, the DC stated that any vehicle plying on
the above bridge beyond the restricted load limit will be penalised. The order,
which took effect from May 31, will continue till further order.

- ADC Mon notifies on
Shreshta Scheme
- DIMAPUR — The
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Mon, Pakon Phom, has notified concerned
officers in Mon district about the SHRESHTA Scheme, as per directives from the
Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. “In this regard, the concerned
officers are requested to give awareness to all the private and government
schools under their respective jurisdiction as per the directives received from
the department,” a DIPR report stated.
