New Reserve Youth Organisation condemned a stabbing in the colony and urged swift justice to ensure community safety.

DIMAPUR — The New Reserve Youth Organisation has condemned the stabbing of a 21-year-old boy within the colony on September 17. The accused has been identified as colony youth Veyiezo Nienu.
In a statement, the organisation described the act as barbaric and unacceptable in a civilised society. It said that while the concerned authority is taking the necessary action, "no such act will ever be acceptable in our colony."
The organisation also called upon the parents of the accused "to take full responsibility by ensuring he is kept in a secure environment where no further harm can be caused."

Emphasising that the safety and well-being of the community remains the top priority, the organisation stated, "we cannot allow violence to take root in our colony. Today’s victim could be anyone tomorrow."
The organisation reaffirmed its stand for swift justice and its commitment to preserving peace and safety in New Reserve.
