DIMAPUR — The New Ministers Hill Panchayat, Ward-16, Kohima, has informed all concerned that several private pipelines passing through the Middle Sector and the South Police Station Sector, particularly along the drainage/nallahs and circular roads of New Minister’s Hill colony, are causing serious inconvenience to the public.
In a press release, the panchayat requested all private pipeline owners whose pipelines are laid in the aforementioned areas to attend a coordination meeting with the panchayat to address and resolve the issue.
The meeting is scheduled to be held on July 26 at 10 am at the panchayat hall.
In a separate release, the panchayat also informed all residents of New Minister’s Hill colony to strictly follow the guidelines for proper cleaning and maintenance of septic tanks, and not to dispose of household waste in the drainage/nallahs under any circumstances.
“Please take note that the Panchayat will initiate appropriate action against any individuals or households found violating these directives, with effect from 1st August, 2025,” the release added.
